A BOY AND HIS DOG
Updated: May 22, 2020
Good Morning Digi Divas! THANK YOU for stopping in today! I trust you are staying safe, staying in and staying healthy during this difficult time. We've had the opportunity to have quality family time, time to reflect, time to share, time to pray and even find some time to craft.
This set comes from a FUN memory of my youngest brother and his ever faithful companion Sparky. He and his dog did everything together-shared everything as a boy and his dog will do. We teased him and said he had half of Sparky's fleas ;-). So, I decided to draw this stamp set for my brother. His birthday coming up in a couple of weeks and in memory of Sparky- A Boy and His Dog. I hope you will enjoy crafting with it as much as I had drawing it. Will you come along?

MATERIALS LIST:
A Boy and his Dog - #3285J Stamp Set COPIC® MARKERS

Dimensional Glue®
Birthday Die
VersaMagic - Aegean Blue®
VersaMagic- Hint of Pesto®
Nuvo Crystal Drops - Morning Dew®
Foam Tape
Tear-ific Tape®
Opt - Cloud Cut-out

I used Tear-ific® tape and adhered the 5"x7" Black Solid Core to the 5"x7" cardbase; the 4-3/4"x 6-3/4" White Solid Core Cardstock centered on the Black and the 4-1/2"x6-1/2" Kraft Corrugated
centered on the white as shown.

I colored my image with Copic® Markers.
The list of colors listed above.
Using the largest of the Vintage Torn Rectangle Dies®, I centered the image side to side and a bit to the bottom... as shown. Then run through the Big Shot®.

Using a cloud cut-out, I sponged in some Clouds in the background of the
boy and dog using VersaMagic-Aegean
Blue® ink... as shown.
I then sponged the edges of the die
cut with the VersaMagic-Aegean Blue® on the top portion and VersaMagic-Hints of
Pesto® on the bottom portion.

I tore across on one edge of both the
2"x4-1/2" pieces of scrap card stock as
shown.
Using Dimensional Glue® they are
adhered to the corrugated Kraft as
shown.

Using Foam tape on the back side of the Image die cut, adhere to the front of the card with fold on the left. Position about
1-3/4" from the top and centered side to side.

Using Nuvo Crystal Drops-Morning Dew®
I placed very small droplets on top the water droplets to give it a bit more dimension. Let Dry!
Adhere the sentiment of your choice, I have created several for the set. I chose Happy Birthday for my Brother... ;-)

THANK YOU for coming on another of my "Jan takes a stroll down memory lane" creations! I hope you enjoyed 3285J A Boy and His Dog and maybe Sparky sparked a memory for you as well... Stay safe and healthy!
HAPPY CRAFTING! Stop by again!
Hugs,
