To start this nostalgic scholastic creation you will need my 5065J- Back to School Digital Stamp set.
Size the Ruler first to 2" at an angle. Then size the book image to 4"x2-1/2" and partially overlay the ruler. Size the ABC's to 1-1/4" and Back to School to 2-3/4" and arrange as shown.
Print on Hammermill® 100lb. White Coverstock.

Color your images as desired.

I chose to use Copic® Markers. A full list of the colors and locations are listed above.

This part will require a Silhouette®. I used the Silhouette - Schoolhouse Frame. You will find all the parts are grouped together. Un-group and separate all the parts as shown. Re-group and size. On the main part of the building move the lower two nodes to align with the upper two nodes and 6-7/8" from the top point.

Cut your cardstock and arrange as shown on your Silhouette® Cutting Mat. Load and Cut.

Edge each of the cut pieces with the coordinating Ink pad.

Using EZ-Squeeze® Glue assemble and adhere the schoolhouse.

Fussy cut the colored book image as shown. Adhere the image to Black cardstock and fussy cut leaving a halo of black.

These are the 2 Images you should have assembled at this point.

Cut a 7"x8-1/2" rectangle, score and fold at the
2-1/4" mark and the 6-1/4" mark to form a
7"x4-1/4" cardbase.

Align the top peak of the Schoolhouse with the center of the cardbase and side to side of the cardbase. Trace around the Schoolhouse image on to the cardbase as shown.

Fussy Cut the cardbase along the trace lines as shown.

Cut the Schoolhouse image into half as shown.

Adhere each half of the Schoolhouse image to each of the flaps of the cardbase.

Cut 2 green grass strips and adhere one to the bottom edge of each flap.

Apply EZ-Squeeze glue to 2" of the backside of the Book image and adhere to the left front flap as shown.

Be careful not to glue the card shut.

OPTIONAL: I often use scraps of the backside.
However, I had a test Schoolhouse that had a couple of mistakes- so I used the upper portion on the backside and a name plaque to complete my card as shown.
Thanks for joining me on this nostalgic trip Back to School. I hope it brought back some fond school memories for you as it did for me. Stay tuned for my next card making tutorial soon!
