Candy Corn Witch Moon Card
Updated: Oct 5, 2022
Good Day Digi Divas Everywhere! Hard to believe but it's October already- almost time for my daughters' favorite holiday-Halloween. It has been awhile since I've created a witch (Witchie Gertie), so I decided to draw something a little less frightening this time- Candy Corn Witch. She's cute and she is the subject of one of my husband's favorite Halloween "delicacies"- candy corn! Are you ready to get spooky? Here we go...

Suggested card size 5"x7"
MATERIALS LIST: COPIC® MARKERS:
4000J-Candy Corn Witch Digital Stamp Set C0, C3
Hammermill® 100lb. White Coverstock E50, E53 E02, E04
Neenah® Sun Burst Yellow Cardstock G05 - eyes
5"x7" cardbase N3, N5, N8, N0
Black Solid Core (Scraps) W3
io® Halloween Hill Die Y02, Y13, Y15, Y17 Y35
Paws-itive® Haunted House Die YR02, YR04, YR07
Foam® Tape Copic® Air Brush - Optional
Tear-ific® Tape
Dimensional® Glue

To start Draw two (2) 4-1/4" circles, one inside the other. Move the top circle until you see the size moon you like.
The Candy Corn Witch image from the 4000J-Candy Corn Witch Digital Stamp Set size to 3-1/4" x 5-1/4" and sit her on the moon as shown.
Pick a couple of sentiments. Print on
Hammermill® 100lb. White Coverstock.

Color as desired, I chose to color mine with Copic® Markers. A complete list of colors is above.

Fussy cut your Candy Corn Witch and Moon out.

I used the Copic® Air Brush to create the sky background with the colors listed on a rectangle 4-3/4"x6-3/4" of Hammermill® white.
If you do not have an airbrush, you can smudge you sky using the following:
Memento Cantaloupe along the bottom.
Memento® Tangelo overlapping the yellow bit. VersaMagic® Aegean Blue for the lower clouds and fade into VersaMagic® Ocean Depth towards the upper clouds.

Apply Foam® Tape to the backside of the fussy cut Candy Corn Witch as shown and adhere to the sky about 1/8" from the top.

Colored in lower left corner with BG78 at a slant.

Using io® Halloween Hill Die on a strip of
Black solid core cardstock. Run through the Big Shot®.
Adhere across the bottom as shown.

Using Paws-itive® Haunted House Die on a strip of
Black solid core cardstock. Run through the Big Shot®. Glue the bats randomly around in the sky.
Save the balance to use on the backside.

Using the Neenah® Sun Burst Yellow Cardstock to make a 5"x7" cardbase.
Adhere the card front to the cardbase with the fold on the left and about an 1/8" border as shown.

Select a sentiment, and edge using VersaMagic® Ocean Depth and adhere in the lower left corner as shown.

OPTIONAL: Using the leftover pieces and a name plaque adhere to the backside of the card as shown.
Isn't she a spook-tac-u-lar creation?
