Hello Digi Divas everywhere! I'm continuing to "Haul out the Holly" with my NEW Christmas Holly Digi Set- New and On Sale as part of my Christmas in July Sale. I drew this set with versatility in mind. If your Christmas Card list is as long as mine, I'm sure you can create a plethora of holiday cards using these images. Here's the Second of Four New Christmas cards using my new Digi Set!
Suggested card size: 5" x 7" (A7)
MATERIALS LIST FOR 2nd of FOUR (4) CARDS:
Hammermill® White 100lb. Coverstock COPIC® MARKERS:
Black Solid Core Cardstock R14, R17, R29 - Berries
1/4" Red Satin Ribbon G02, G05, G09 - Holly
Nuvo® Crystal Drops-Morning Dew E000, E30, E31, E33 - Banner
Starfire® Glitter G1017
Nuvo® Large Glue Pen
Dimensional Glue®
Tear-ific® Tape
X-acto® Knife
Below is a drawing/sketch to help you layout the main images for three (3) of the cards. Giving
measurements, shapes and instructions. I hope this is helpful!
Layout your images as shown above; print your images on Hammermill® 100lb. White Coverstock. Color as desired, I used Copic® Markers. Cut the images apart and set to side as we work through each card.
The 5"x7" card front that you just colored, trim 1/4" off on all four sides for a finished size of 4-1/2"x6-1/2".
Using an X-acto® knife to cut around the left side of
the banner as shown.
Apply Glue Pen to the entire surface EXCEPT
the banner.
Apply Starfire Glitter® G1017 to the surface. Apply
Dimensional Glue® the the holly on the banner and
apply Starfire Glitter® G1017 to it. Make sure the
banner slit is not glued shut.
Cut a 4-3/4"x6-3/4" rectangle from the Black solid core cardstock. Center and adhere to a 5"x7" Cardbase.
Apply 1/8" Tear-ific® Tape on the backside of the 1/4" Red Ribbon. Slip the ribbon under the edge of the banner slit and wrap around the glitter. Apply Tear-ific® Tape on the backside of the glittered image. Center on the cardbase and adhere.
Adhere the Red Ribbon bow using dimensional glue. Let dry.
I love glitter on a Christmas Card!
