Easter Hippity Hop Card

Hello Digi Divas everywhere! I am so glad you dropped in today. I just checked my calendar and realized Easter will be here before we know it- April 17th! That said, I want to share a really cute Easter Card I created with my new Easter Hippity Hop Digi Set.

Suggested card size is 5"x7"

MATERIALS LIST: COPIC® MARKERS:

#3530J Easter Hippity Hop Digi Set B000, B01, B02, B04

Hammermill® 100lb White Coverstock E30, E31, E33, E34, E35, E37

Shades of Green Cardstock - Stash G03

Pink Cardstock - Stash R02

Karen Burniston® Happy Birthday Die RV00, RV(Custom), RV02

Toyfunny® Metal Die Happy Easter W1, W3

White 1/2" pom-pom Y02, Y04, Y13, Y15

VersaMagic® Sea Breeze YG01, YG02, YG91, YG61

VersaMagic® Hint of Pesto

Foam® Tape 0.05 Copic® Multi-liner Sepia

Tear-ific® Tape

Dimensional® Glue

To start with I drew a 4-7/8"x6-7/8" egg shape on one side of the page. I placed the #3530J Easter Hippity Hop main image inside the egg shape and sized it to

3-3/4"x4". I then copied and pasted the main image onto the other side of the page.

You can color the image any way you desire. I chose to use Copic® Markers. The colors I used are listed above.

I printed the layout on plain copy paper (2) times. I fussy cut one as a mask for the ground/grass mask and a separate piece for grass to move around.

I fussy cut one as a mask for the sky portion- cut a cloud shape to move around as I airbrush.

I air brushed various grass clumps using YG91, YG61 and G02. If you do not have an airbrush you can smudge using distress inks or VersaMagic® inks.

Use B00 for the sky- move the cloud around.

Using some small scraps of varying shades of green, I fussy cut several clumps of grass as shown.

Adhere about 4 of the clumps around the main image as shown.

Fussy cut the large egg as shown.

Take a 5"x7" cardbase and trace around the egg shape with a small part overlapping the fold on the left.

Fussy cut the cardbase.

Edge the upper portion of the Egg shape using VersaMagic® Sea Breeze.

Edge the lower portion of the Egg shape using VersaMagic® Sage or Hint of Pesto.

Cut the White 1/2" pom-pom in half. Adhere one half to each bunny tail using Dimensional® Glue. Let Dry.

Adhere the Egg-shaped card front to the Egg-Shaped card base with the fold on the left.

Fussy cut the second image, minus their tails as shown.

I used Foam® Tape on the back of the second image to adhere over the image on the front of the card. (DO NOT ADHERE THE TOP OF EGG YET).

Using the Karen Burniston® Happy Birthday Die and the Toyfunny® Metal Die Happy Easter on Pink Cardstock run through the Big Shot®.

Sentiment- I used the "Happy" from Happy birthday and "Easter"

from Happy Easter. Adhere to the upper portion of the Egg-shaped card as shown.

Thanks again for stopping by! I'm looking forward to sharing another NEW card creation with you soon. Happy Crafting!

Hugs,
