Hello Digi Divas! Welcome to another offering for fall. I love this time of year- especially the variety of fall berry harvests! An antique country crock pitcher makes the perfect vessel. It could also be used for a Christmas greeting as well. I would like to walk you through this CAS card using my new Fall Berries Digi Set. Come along.....
Suggested card size: 7"x5"
MATERIALS LIST: COPIC® MARKERS
Hammermill® Ivory 100lb. Coverstock
18" Jute Twine
To start today's project I am using the pre-colored images so the ink will not bleed through.
Draw (2) 7"x5" rectangles and place side by side. Mark them for show, NOT Print.
Using the pre-colored Berries in jug image, size to the image to 5-1/4"x 4-1/2" and place in the lower right of the lower rectangle as shown. Position 2/3's of image in the rectangle and 1/3 off the rectangle. White out the 1/3 out of the rectangle so not to print as shown.
Use the Berries Jug again but turn upside down and place in the upper rectangle. I used only the berries portion. Using rectangles and circles I whited out the parts I did not want to print. Placed a Name plaque in the center, upside down as shown.
Select a sentiment and place in the left of the lower rectangle as shown.
Print on Hammermill® 100lb. Ivory Coverstock as shown.
Align your straight edge along the Berries in Jug image and tear.
Mark lightly with pencil about 6-7/8" from your torn edge to align your second edge. Tear along straight edge.
Score and fold about 1/8" above the Berries in Jug image.
Lightly mark 5" from fold, align your straight edge and tear one layer at a time.
Wrap your Jute Twine twice around at the fold and knot a bit off center as shown.
Using Copic® W1, place a little shadow around the bottom of the jug in order to ground the image.
Voila! A quick and easy, beautiful fall CAS card.
