Hello Digi Divas! So glad you stopped by and sharing a part of your day with me. Today I want to remind you Valentine's Day is only two days away and that you still have time to create that special card for that special someone. I would like to share two simple cards from one stamp set that can still be made in time for your Special Someone. My Only have Eyes for You Digi Set has pre-colored images to help as well as black & white images along with matching sentiments for you to choose from.
My dog with the big eyes is inspired by my daughter's lovable Labrador Benny. He adores her and waits by the door every day for her to come home from work. I drew this for her and Benny- her beloved companion.
I used a small heart paper from my stash cut to 5"x7" and edged with Lady Bug Ink. Cut the image out with the Stitched Dotted Lace Rectangle® die and wove an 1/8" satin ribbon through the larger holes and finished with a small tied bow. Added the fussy cut letter tiles on foam tape to give a little dimension. This card makes for a Special Valentine for that special someone!
For my second card I chose to do a slimline
4"x9".
Using the Tonic Four of Us Shadowbox® die I cut the 5" long image. I cut a Red solid core cardstock to 4"x9" and about 1" in from the right I punched a line of rectangle holes to weave some 1/4" heart ribbon through and tie a bow. Underlined the letter tiles and heart with gray to give a sense of depth. Wasn't that FUN, QUICK and EASY?
