This is a special card I made for our (hopefully) Happy New Year! I hope you enjoy this quick tutorial. Are you ready? Come along for a great start for 2021!
I started with a 5"x7" card base, edged the front of the base with 1/4" Tear-ific® Tape. On a coffee filter lay the cardbase and add Fantasy Gold® Glitter using your handy dandy finger tool.
Size a rectangle 4-5/8"x6-5/8", step the images as follows: scatter the confetti image 2 or 3 times across the lower portion of the rectangle, about center of the lower portion of the rectangle paste the Ornaments-FREE image 3-1/2"x1-1/2", on the right side place the Ice bucket image 3"x4", paste two or three streamers from the upper portion of the rectangle varying in size. Paste the glasses image 2-1/2"x2-3/4" in the left portion of the rectangle. Cut and paste a second set of glasses and place outside the rectangle. Paste the sentiment towards the top of the rectangle to the right of the champagne bottle. Delete the rectangle and print.
Color as desired. I used Copic® Markers the list of colors listed above. This should be FUN!
Cut the colored images out in a rectangle 4-5/8"x6-5/8". Edge the rectangle with 1/8" Tear-ific® Tape. On a coffee filter lay the rectangle and add Silver Dreams® Glitter using your handy dandy finger tool. Adhere centered to the cardbase using foam tape.
Using the Quickie Glue Pen® trace the designs on the ornaments. Apply glitter to each at different times. Let dry.
Fussy cut the second set of glasses and adhere with foam tape over the glasses on the front of the cardbase. Apply Nuvo® Crystal Drops - Morning Dew over both glasses. Let dry. Apply Nuvo® Glitter Drops - White Blizzard on the Green circle on the bottle label, outline the ice cubes and add droplets on bucket. Let dry.
