HOLIDAY CANDY!

Updated: Feb 22, 2020

Remember when we were kids and we waited in anticipation for the Sears Roebuck Catalog to arrive. How we would wear the pages out looking at the things we wished Santa would bring. I know I am telling my age ;-/ … My cousin was drawn to the few pages right before the toy section where they had colorful pictures of candies. She called it "Poured out Candy". Every year it was at the top of her list. The memory of that is what inspired me to draw my "947J Holiday Candies" deluxe stamp set. Today I would like to share with you a card made with one of the embellishments from that set.

That's the beauty of using the Digital stamps. You can size each image to any size. For this card the image is 2-3/4"x2".

Print on Hammermill 100lb. White Cover Stock.

Color as desired. I used Copic markers, the list is above in materials list.

Cut out the image using Paws-itively Pawsome's Stitched Curvy Coved Rectangles Die set.

Cut out a Red Core'Dinations piece with the next larger Paws-itively Pawsome's Stitched Curvy Coved Rectangles Die set.

Cut Core' Dinations Solid Core Red Card Stock to 5"x7".

Cut Solid Core Green Card stock, (1) one 4-1/2"x6-1/2" and (2) two 2-1/4"x2-3/4".

Cut Echo Park I love Christmas card stock to 4-1/4"x6-1/4".

Cut Green Dotted (2) two 1-3/4"x2-1/4".

Apply 1/4" Tear-ific tape to the back side of each piece.

Adhere the Green 4-1/2"x6-1/2" centered on the Red 5"x7".

Adhere the Echo Park Pattern 4-1/4"x6-1/4" centered on the Green 4-1/2"x6-1/2".

Adhere the Green dotted 1-3/4"x2-1/4" centered of the Green 2-1/4"x2-3/4" pieces.

Adhere (1) one of the Green & green dotted pieces about 3/8" in from the left and 3/8" from the top of the Echo Park Patterned. Adhere the second Green & green dotted

about 3/8" in from the right side and 1-1/4" from the bottom of the Echo Park Patterned. As shown.

Print the sentiments you like at different sizes. (Laser Print) Apply Minc. Transfer foil in the colors you like. I chose Red and Green and run through the Transfer Foil Machine/Laminator.

I used Spellbinder's A2 Devine Eleoquence #4 to cut out my sentiment.

Adhere to the bottom area as shown.

Set on a coffee filter. Using the Nuvo Glue pens apply glue to the candy images. Apply Starfire Glitter. Dump excess onto the coffee filter and empty back into jar.

Cut white card stock 7"x10", score and fold a 5" to make card base.

Adhere the front to a card base.

Sweet as candy! You have another card for your Christmas Card List! Thank you for coming along on my treasured memory!

Hugs,

Jan
