HOLIDAY SLEIGH

Updated: Dec 8, 2020

Good Day Digi Divas!

Thank you for stopping by! I'd like to share with you a NEW stamp set I created for the Holidays-Holiday Sleigh. It has a touch of holiday nostalgia! I was inspired by an old movie named "All Mine to Give" from 1959. I really enjoyed drawing this set and I'm hoping you have a lot of FUN with it! Join me while I share two (2) quick cards using the Holiday Sleigh Digital Stamp Set.

The first card I would like to share is the Sleigh using Holiday Sleigh-3355J Digi Set.

Suggested card size - 5"x7"

MATERIALS LIST:

Tree Scene Rubber Stamp (Digi is on sale)

Hammermill® White 100lb. Coverstock

Variety of Snowflake Dies/punches

Versa Magic® Aegean Blue

8 - Crystal Rhinestones (different sizes) COPIC® MARKERS:

Silver Glitter Card Stock R12, R14, R17, R29, R59

Red Solid Core Card stock YR21, YR23, YR24, YR27

5"x7" card base Y00, Y21

Tonic® Curved Crosses & Stripes Die Set E07, E42, E43, E44, E47, E74, E77

Dimensional® Glue YG63, YG67

White Gel Pen W1, W3, W5

Waterscape® Glitter N2, N3, N5

Memento® Cottage Ivy B60, B63, B66

Size the sleigh to 4"x3-1/4", placed about 2" from the top of the page and about 1-3/4" from the left hand side. I sized my sentiment 2"x1-1/2" and placed over the Sleigh with the "S" between the bow and the armrest of the sleigh. Print and Color as desired. I colored my with Copic® Markers. The list of colors are above.

I used the outer Tonic Die® frame and centered the sleigh and sentiment image in the die and run through my die cutting machine. I edged the edges of my die cut with Versa Magic® Aegean Blue. I cut and oval and a cloud mask of plain paper. I covered my sentiment with the oval. I smudged around the cloud edges using Versa Magic® Aegean Blue moving it around on the page. (I am not the best at smudging... I should have airbrushed.) I drew a couple of snow drifts with B60, B63 & B66.

I used my Tree Scene rubber stamp (digi is available and on sale), Inked only the upper half and stamped on both sides of the Die cut edges. Colored the trees with YG63 & YG67 and B60, B63, & B66.

I then applied Dimensional® Glue along the snow drifts and smudged with my finger and applied Waterscape® Glitter. Emptied the excess off onto a coffee filter and dumped back into jar. Using Dimensional® Glue adhere Waterscape® Glitter to the branches of the trees as well. Emptied the excess off onto a coffee filter and dumped back into jar.

I cut the Silver Glitter cardstock to 5"x7", the red cardstock to 4-3/4"x6-3/4". Using Tear-ific® Tape adhere the red rectangle centered on the silver glitter cardstock. Using Tear-ific® Tape and adhere the Sleigh image about 1/4" from the left, Top and Bottom on the red cardstock.

Punch or die cut several sizes of snow flakes from the silver glitter cardstock. Adhere different sized snowflakes along the right side of the card and one small snowflake in the upper left hand corner. Adhere a rhinestone in the center of each snow flake. Let Dry.

Great card! Wasn't That FUN? I hope you enjoyed a quick and easy card.
