Holly and Mistletoe Card Five Pack
Welcome Digi Divas! I am so excited you stopped by today. Well, it's already October- 2023 has certainly progressed quickly! Like so many of you, I am in my annual Holiday Card Crafting Crunch! So little time, so many cards to make! SO- I decided to use the Holly and Mistletoe image from my new Santa's Coming! Digital Stamp Set to create 5 different holiday cards all at once using the same image, yet each card style very different! Hopefully one of these cards will catch your crafting eye...

Suggested card size for all cards is 5"x 7"
The materials will vary per card, but the image and sentiment are the same size for each card. Orientation on the printout may vary....

You will need my 5085J- Santa's Coming
Digital Stamp Set. In that set you will find the Holly and Mistletoe image that we are going to play with today. Sized the image to 3-1/4"x4-5/8" and the sentiment to
2-1/2"x1-1/2". Print on Hammermill®
100 lb. White Coverstock.

You can color your images as desired. Or use the precoloured images provided in the stamp set. I chose to use my Copic® Markers. All of the images were colored basically the same, except a couple I made the Holly Berries a bit darker to go better with a couple of papers. I colored (6) images at the start.

COPIC® MARKERS:
E33, E35, YG01 - Twig
G12, G14, G16, G28 - Mistletoe
R12, R14, R27, R39 - Holly Berries
YG00, YG01, YG03 - Mistletoe Berries
(R32, R35, R39, R59 - Darker Berries)
YG61, YG63, YG66, G85 - Holly

Let's start this Fun-Time journey with a CAS creation:
Card One
You will need Hammermill® 100 lb. White Coverstock, Copic® MultiLiner - Black 0.2,
5"x7" cardbase, and a color medium of your choice
(I chose Copic®).

I used an image from the landscaped layout.
Cut the Image out to 5"x7" and adhered to a 5"x7" Cardbase. (You could also tear using a straight edge edge.) Using a Copic® Multiliner - Black 0.2 , I made a border about 1/4" in from the edge. It doesn't need to be perfect. I did adhere a fussy cut piece to the backside with a name plaque to finish this card.

Card Two
Card Two is much like the first card but it has some dimension and texture.
You will need Hammermill® 100 lb. White Coverstock, Copic® MultiLiner - Black 0.2,
5"x7" cardbase, and a color medium of your choice
(I chose Copic®). A 5"x7" Black Solid core cardstock,
4-3/4"x6-3/4" Corrugated Kraft Board, Gold Baker's Twine®.

This image was from a portrait printout.
I used a straight edge to tear the image to
4-1/4"x5-1/2". Like before, I used a Copic® Multiliner - Black 0.2, I made a border about 1/4" in from the edge. It doesn't need to be perfect. Adhered a 5"x7" piece of Black Solid Core to the 5"x7" cardbase. I then
wrapped the Gold Baker's Twine® around the bottom of the 4-3/4"x6-3/4" Corrugated Kraft Board 3x and knotted. Centered and adhered the 4-3/4"x6-3/4" Corrugated Kraft Board to the cardbase. Adhere the image to the card front about a 1/2" from the top and both sides as shown.

Card Three
Card three is the card I wanted to try with a NEW Spellbinders® Picot Petite Rectangle Die I just received.
You will also need: Hammermill® 100 lb. White Coverstock, The Paper Studio® - Winter Berries Pad, a strip of 1-1/2"x5" Red Solid Core card stock - mine came from my stash, two (2) images, 5"x7" cardbase, Nuvo® Crystal Drops-Blizzard White, Liquid Pearls®-Rouge, Foam Tape, Green Glitter Glue, Gold Baker's Twine® and (3) small Rhinestones, (3) sequins.

Adhere the 5"x7" The Paper Studio® - Winter Berries to the cardbase front. Adhere the 1-1/2"x5" Red Solidcore Strip across the bottom of the card front about 3/8" above the bottom. Cut one (1) image out using the Spellbinders® Picot Petite Rectangle Die and your Big Shot® as shown. Fussy Cut the second image Holly Cluster. Align and adhere over 1st Image using Foam Tape. I then started threading the Gold Baker's Twine® in and out of the round holes and tied a bow. Adhere the Image to the front of the card about 3/8" from the top. Apply Liquid Pearls®-Rouge randomly to the Holly Berries.
Apply Nuvo® Crystal Drops-Blizzard White to the Mistletoe Berries and a touch of Green Glitter Glue to the Holly leaves. LET DRY! Adhere three sequins to the front around the image. Adhere (3) three Gold Rhinestones in a line on the lower right Red strip.

Card Four
On Card Four I wanted to try another NEW die I received Marianne® Arch Nesting dies and a gate fold card too!
You will need: a 5"x7" gate fold cardbase, Hammermill® 100 lb. White Coverstock, Neenah® Red Solidcore Cardstock, 5"x7" The Paper Studio® - Winter Berries Pad, 1/4" Red Ribbon & Bow (Mine was saved off my Candy Easter Bunny - LOL!) Three (3) Sequins, Nuvo® Crystal Drops-Blizzard White, Green Glitter Glue, (Old Fashion Pencil Compass)

I used the next-to-largest Marianne Arch Nesting die and Big Shot® to cut my image out. I used an Old Fashion Pencil Compass to draw a half circle for the arched cardbase. then fussy cut it. I traced the cardbase shape on the Neenah® Red Solidcore Cardstock and fussy cut. Adhered to the front of the cardbase.

I cut a 4-1/2"x6-1/2" Rectangle of the Paper Studio® - Winter Berries and again drew a half circle to arch and fussy cut. Adhered to the card front. I then carefully cut down the center with scissors to open the gate fold.
I adhered the Ribbon and Bow along the bottom edge of the image arch and wrapped the ends around to the backside of the image and secured.

Adhere the image to the left flap. Only put glue on one half so not to glue the card shut. As an Option - I adhered two scrap strips and a name plaque to the backside of the card. Lastly, I used Copic W1 to color in a shadow for the Image.

Card Five has a lot of shine and layers.
You will need: a 5"x7" cardbase, Hammermill® 100 lb. White Coverstock,
The Paper Studio® - Gold Foil Cardstock,
American Crafts® - Christmas/ Noel Stripe,
The Paper Studio® - Winter Berries Scrap,
The Paper Studio® - Merry & Magical Pad,

Cut The Paper Studio® - Merry & Magical Starburst to 4-3/4"x6-3/4" rectangle, Center and adhere to the 5"x7" Gold Rectangle. Cut American Crafts® - Christmas/ Noel Stripe to 3"x5-1/2" and center and adhere to the 3-1/4"x5-3/4" Gold Rectangle. Then adhere the 3-1/4"x5-3/4" rectangle 5/8" from the top and left side of the 5"x7" Gold Rectangle.
Wrap the 1/4" Offray® Sage Ribbon across the two rectangles about 2-1/4" from the bottom of the 5"x7" gold rectangle. Secure the ends on backside. Adhere the 5"x7" rectangle to the front of the cardbase. Cut The Paper Studio® - Winter Berries Scrap to 2"x3-1/2", center and adhere to the 3-5/8"x2-1/4" Gold Rectangle. Fussy Cut the Holly and Mistletoe image and carefully cut a rectangle as shown around the sentiment. Ahere the 3-5/8"x2-1/4" Gold Rectangle to the sentiment as shown.
