Nativity Card

Updated: Nov 9, 2022

Welcome Digi Divas! Thank you for joining me today to card craft! I have a beautiful Nativity Card to show you. I created this Christmas card using my new Nativity Digi Set. As this year's Holiday Season approaches, I wanted to create a "reason for the season" card. I invite you to come along as I walk you through this special creation. Here we go!

Dimensional® Glue

Start by sizing the images of the 4020J- Nativity Digital Stamp Set. Nativity Angel is

sized 3-1/4"x4-1/4" and centered on one half of the page. Add a sentiment centered under the image as shown.

Size the Angel image for later use on different card.

Color as desired, I used Copic® markers. The colors I used are listed above.

Cut a box around 3/4 of the sentiment as shown for out of box.

Position the Elizabeth® Oval Nesting Die under the sentiment and center around the image as shown.

(Optional - Secure with tape)

Run through the Big Shot®. Set to side.

Oooops! The next step I forgot to take a picture, but I think you will be able to follow.

The 5-3/4"x12" White, Cut a slit 1" from the right to the 7" mark about 1-1/2" in from the bottom as shown.

Score from the bottom to the slit at the 1", 2" and 7" marks. Score at the 6" mark from the top to the slit as shown. Fold at the scores.

Cut the DCWV®-Luna to a 5-3/4"x6" rectangle and then cut a 1-1/2"x5" rectangle from the left side of the DCWV®-Luna to fit the NEW cardbase as shown. Edge the Luna using Versa Magic®-Ocean Depth as shown.

Adhere the DCWV®-Luna to the cardbase as shown.

The Manger #2 Die was run 2X on Black solid core cardstock. I cut the palm trees separate and glued to the card front as shown.

Using a 1"x6" piece of Black solid core cardstock I run the skyline halfway; moved and cut again from the Metal Herdsmen® die set.

Glued across the bottom as shown.

Use Copic® B91 and a flick motion around the Angel image. Then edge the oval and across the bottom, above the sentiment using VersaMagic®-Ocean Depth as shown.

Edge the 1-1/2"x5" rectangle of Paper Studio®-Away in a Manger (Scrap) using

Memento® - Teal Zeal.

Adhere the rectangle to the left step using

Tear-ific® Tape.

Using a 1" round punch, punch one circle of Gold Vellum. Glue the fussy cut star centered on Gold Vellum.

Glue the Vellum/Star in the upper left corner of DCWV®-Luna as shown.

OPTIONAL: Adhere a couple of scrap strips and a name plaque on the backside of the card.

Can also apply Glitter Glue to the star, Angel halo and around the head of Jesus.
