Peony Blooms Card
Updated: Mar 29
Welcome Digi Divas! I am so glad you have stopped by to share part of your day with me. Today I want to put a little spring into your winter day. My new Peony Bloom Digi Set makes me feel warm inside on a somewhat blustery day here in Pensacola! Are you ready to craft? Let's begin...

Suggested card size - 5"x7"
MATERIALS LIST: COPIC® MARKERS
#4055J - Peony Bloom Digital Stamp Set E35 - Centers
Hammermill® White 100lb. Coverstock RV00, RV mix, RV02, RV04, RV06,
22 lb. Copy Paper RV66, RV69, V01, V04 - Flowers
Fiskars® Corner Punch Y13, Y15, YR18, YR24
Nuvo® Crystal Drops-Morning Dew YG61, YG63, YG67 - Leaves
3/4" EZ-Tear Tape® YG91, YG93, YG95, YG97 - Leaves
Washi Tape®
Dogwood Rose Glitter
Gold Baker's Cord

To start our journey today, we will size our images and arrange on our page as shown.
Divide the page into half for a front and back.
Size the single peony to 3"x3-1/4" and flip/mirror reverse and overlap the center line just a bit.
Size the peony and bud image to 4-1/2"x5" and rotate to please and overlap the center line just a bit. Draw a white rectangle to align with the center line and cover the excess over the center line as shown.
Apply a Name plate. Size a pre-colored bud to 1-1/8" and place over the name plate. (I used the pre-colored so the ink would not penetrate.)
Select a sentiment and place about as shown.

I placed Washi Tape® along the center line so when coloring it does not cross over to the back side.
Color as desired. I chose to color mine with Copic® Markers. A full list of colors is listed above.

Once your coloring is finished, remove the Washi Tape® carefully.
Score and fold along the edge of the Peonies along the center line as shown.

Trim the folded card to 5"x7" as shown.
Trim about an additional 3/8" off the front cover along the 7" edge.

Punch the two (2) corners on the front corner as shown using Fiskars® corner punch.

Apply 3/4" Tear-ific Tape® along the 7" edge of the card interior as shown. Remove the protective and apply Dogwood Rose glitter and burnish in using your handy dandy finger tool. Empty excess back into jar.

Tie a Gold Cord around the spine/fold of the card.
Print a small pre-colored bud on a 22 lb. Copy Paper. Fold paper in half and cut 4"x6-1/2".

Open card and slide under the gold cord.

Using Nuvo® Crystal Drops - Morning Dew place a few random droplets on the card front. Let Dry.
