Peppermint Santa Card

Welcome Digi Divas! So excited you stopped by today, I want to share my nostalgic card featuring Santa getting ready for his favorite time of year. I love his clean-up crew! Let's take a short Christmas trip through Peppermint Santa Land...

Suggested card size: 5"x7"

MATERIALS LIST: COPIC® MARKERS

5030J- Peppermint Santa Digital Stamp Set C1, C3 - Beard / Candy

Hammermill® White 100lb. Coverstock E50, E51, E53, R02 - Face

The Paper Studio® - Four Seasons 4 Pad E50, E53, E13, Brn Multiliner -Dog

Recollections® - Vintage Glam Doily (Gold) G12, G14, G16 - Can

Paws-itivity® - Notched Corner Stitched Rec. N0, N1, N3 - Fur

Gypsy Red® Glitter N4, N6, N8, N9 - Boots/Belt

Twinkling Clouds® Flocking R12, R14, R17, R29, R39 - Santa/Candy

Red & White Baker's Twine W3 - shadows

Gold Glitter Pen Y21, YR 23, YR 24 - Buckles

EZ-Tear® Tape Y32, E33, E35, Brn Multiliner-Cat

Foam® Tape YG61, Y G63, YG67 - Gloves

Dimensional Glue®

To start this adorable card you will need

5030J- Peppermint Santa. Mentally divide your page in halves. Size the Santa image

to 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" and place about center of the half page. Add about a 2" sentiment below the image if you like.

Print on Hammermill® White 100lb. Coverstock.

Color as desired.

I chose to use Copic® Markers. A full list of colors used are listed above.

Cut a 4-3/4"x6-3/4" rectangle of Four Seasons 4® - Peppermint.

Apply EZ-Tear® Tape along the edges of a 5"x7" cardbase as shown.

Cut along the top edge of the Peppermint stick as shown. Slide the Paws-itivity® - Notched Corner Stitched Rectangle Die

under the top of the the Peppermint stick

and adjust.

Run through your Big Shot® machine.

Using your Handi-Dandy Finger Tool and burnish Gypsy Red Glitter into the EZ-Tear®

tape along the edge of the Cardbase.

Center and adhere the 4-3/4"x6-3/4" rectangle of Four Seasons 4® - Peppermint to the front of the cardbase as shown.

Using Dimensional® Glue adhere Twinkling Clouds® Flocking to Santa's fur on his suit.

Let Dry.

Cut one of the Recollections® - Vintage Glam Doily (Gold) in half and adhere to the backside of the

Santa Image as shown.

Apply Foam® Tape to the backside of the

Santa Image as shown.

Center and adhere the Santa image to the front of the cardbase as shown.

Wrap Red & White Baker's Twine twice around the spine/fold of the cardbase and knot.

OPTIONAL: I used a scrap of the peppermint paper, a piece of doily, glitter & EZ-Tear® Tape and a name plaque and arranged on the backside of the card.
