Santa's Coming! Easel Card

Welcome Divas! I am so glad you have stopped by today to share a part of your day with me.

Have you heard? Santa's Coming! Possibly sooner than we expected. I'm sure you are snow boot deep in Christmas Card making- so am I! I am so excited to share with you my new Santa's Coming! Digital Stamp Set just in time for those Christmas Cards. Come along on this fun festive journey creating this beautiful easel Christmas Card!

To start santa's journey down the chimney you will need my new 5085J Santa's Coming Digital Stamp Set. Size the main image to

4"x3-1/2" and the sentiment from Candy Cane 5035 or sentiment of your choosing.

Print on Hammermill® 100lb. White Coverstock.

Color your image as desired. I chose to use

Copic® Markers.

A full list of the Copic® Colors is listed above.

Using an X-acto® Knife, cut around the "G" and from

the wall around the snow drifts to the opposite wall and up three blocks as shown.

Slide the Alinacutle® SnowFlake Stitched Oval®

Die under the "G" and Snowdrifts. Run through the

Big Shot.

Use the die as a mask and Copic® B41 to indicate a skyline with a flicking motion from the edge inward as shown.

Using a Gold Glitter pen, trace around the

"Greetings" to form a halo.

Cut (2) rectangles 2-1/2"x7" of DCWV® Sparkling Snow Cardstock for the front of the cardbase.

Using Copic® B41 color along the fold of the 7"x5" easel cardbase as shown.

Using EZ-Tear Tape®, adhere the (2) rectangles

2-1/2"x7" of DCWV® Sparkling Snow Cardstock

to the front of the cardbase as shown.

Apply Nuvo® Crystal Drops - White Blizzard

to the Snowflakes around the main image and on the snowdrifts. LET DRY.

Using Bearly Art® Precision Glue adhere white Flocking to the Santa's fur on his suit.

Using Neenah® Black Solid Core Cardstock and the

smaller Kokorosa® Tree Scape Circle cut (3) tree

lines and a 3/4"x7" strip. Adhere a tree line on the left and the right of the lower panel of the cardfront and the strip along the bottom as shown. Save the third for later.

Edge the card front edges using VersaMagic®- Aegean Blue.

Adhere the Santa Image to the lower flap of the cardbase front. Be careful not to glue any part of the image to the upper portion of the card flap.

Punched a 1" circle of pale yellow cardstock. Apply yellow Glitter Glue to the 1" circle. Let Dry! Adhere the circle in the upper left hand corner as shown.

Randomly apply a few drops of Nuvo® Crystal Drops - White Blizzard around Santa as shown.

Ley Dry!

Center the InloveArt® Holly Frame over the sentiment and run through the Big Shot®.

Adhere the sentiment with Foam Tape to the interior of the cardbase. Apply Nuvo® Crystal Drops - White Blizzard around on the holly/snow of the sentiment as shown.

Ley Dry!

I like to apply an OPTIONAL arrangement to the

backside of the card. I typically use leftover cardstock from the card. I used a rectangle of

DCWV® Sparkling Snow Cardstock, an extra Kokorosa® Tree Scape Circle cut-out and a name plaque. Arrange and adhere as shown.
