Santa's Holiday Card

Welcome Digi Divas! Can't believe it's already time for Christmas in July! I have two new Holiday Digi Sets to share with you this month. Santa is taking a break here in Florida this July- he's on a Santa's Holiday. I created this whimsical Digi Set for everyone that wishes for a "beach moment" amidst the usual chaos of the Holiday Season. Come along as I share with you a glimpse of Santa's Holiday....

Hammermill® 100lb. White Coverstock CO, C1, C3, C5 - Fur & Hair

Paper House® - beaches of the world pad E50, E51, E53, E33 - Hand

7"x5" Cardbase R14, R17, R29, R39 - Santa

Nuvo® Crystal Drops RVOOO, RVO2, RVO4 - Flowers

Twinkling Clouds Flocking WO, W1, W3, W5 - Chair

Gina K® Glitz Glitter Gel YOO, YO6, YO4 - Pineapple & Umbrella

Small oval Die YGOO, YG61, YG63, YG67 - Palm Fronds

Dimensional® Glue YROO, YRO2, YRO4 - Drink & Flowers

Washi-Tape®

Let's start this FUN creation by dividing the page in half. Size Santa to

4-1/2"x3-1/2" and place in lower right of page. Copy and paste, move to the upper half of page as shown.

Size the Palm Frond to 2-3/4". Position that the bottom of Santa and the top of the fron are 4-3/4" from bottom to top.

Choose a sentiment. Print on Hammermill® 100lb. White Coverstock.

Color as desired. I chose to use Copic® Markers.

Optional - I used Washi-Tape® to keep the Palm Frond coloring in a corner shape.

A full list of the colors used are listed above.

Fussy cut the colored image.

I used an oval die to cut out my sentiment.

Cut a 6-1/2"x4-1/2" rectangle beach scene from Paper House® - beaches of the world pad.

Apply EZ-Tear® Tape to the front of the 7"x5" cardbase along the outer edges as shown; fold to the top.

Using your handi-dandy finger tool, burnish Starfire® Glitter into the EZ-Tear® Tape. Empty the excess back into the jar.

Using EZ-Tear® Tape, center and adhere the beach scene to the front of the cardbase.

Apply Foam® Tape to the backside of the fussy cut Santa image as shown.

Using Dimensional® Glue, adhere Twinkling Clouds Flocking to the Hat edge, ball and arm cuff. Empty excess back into the jar.

Align and adhere the Santa image along the upper right corner and bottom of beach scene.

Apply Glitz Glitter® Gel along the outer edges of the sentiment. Let Dry.

OPTIONAL: Using EZ-Tear® Tape, your handi-dandy finger tool, burnish Starfire® Glitter into the tape; adhere a scrap piece of the beach scene and a name plaque to the backside of the cardbase as shown.

Apply Nuvo® Crystal Drops to the cocktail glass.

Let Dry.
