Seashore Christmas 3190J

Updated: Feb 22, 2020

Good Morning Digi Stamp Divas!

Today I thought I would share with you a Florida inspired stamp set for Christmas. Whether you live in Florida, California or the Eastern Shoreline you will have FUN with this Card and stamp set! One of my favorite things to do is to walk the beach and collect seashells at dusk watching the sun set. One of the benefits of living in Florida. We get very creative with the shells...

R20, R21, R23

Suggested Card Size: 4-1/4" x 5-7/8"

Using my digi stamp set 3190J Seashore Christmas, size the tree image to 2-1/2"x 4-1/4"and position I/2" from the top of the page and 1" from the right edge of the layout. Copy and paste a second tree and position 1/4" from the bottom of the page. Choose your sentiments. I chose Florida Christmas, sized to 1-1/8". Print on Hammermill 100lb. White Coverstock.

Color as desired. I used Copic and Touchfive markers. Listed above.

Cut the sheet a 6" from the top as shown. this is your card front and base.

If you printed the colored images, you may want to touch up some of the colors.

Score and fold at 4-1/4" as shown.

Fussy cut the 2nd tree and set to side.

On backside/inside the card base of the back of the tree wipe with a moist paper towel.

Center the Darice Ornate Frame Embossing folder of the front of the card.

Run Embossing Folder through Big Shot.

Highlight the fussy cut image with Zuixa Neon Glitter Pens. (As Shown)

Using VersaMagic Aegean Blue and edge the card front and litely run across the raised embossing as shown.

Die cut sentiment(s) using the Die of your choice. I used WeR Quickutz Frame 7 Die set.

I then used Minc Heidi Swapp Teal Reactive Foil and run through the foil machine or you can use a laminator. Then edged the sentiments with VersaMagic Aegean Blue Chalk ink as shown.

At this point... If you choose NOT to use the Chibi Lights skip the next 4 steps.

To light your card you will need a Chibi Light, 1632 Coin Battery and Copper tape.

Cut about 12" of Copper tape and then you will have to cut the copper tape length wise into two (2) 12" strips.

Apply a Chibi LED Light at the top with a positive on one Foil and a negative on the other foil.

Create a circuit on the card front using foil tape. You need two (2) strips of foil tape; one for positive and one for negative current. One piece of foil tape is is for the battery to sit on, the second piece wraps over and partially around a small piece of paper to make a switch. (Shown in red) Build a holder for the battery with 3M Foam tape as shown.

Using 3M Foam Tape adhere the fussy cut Tree image directly over the tree on the front of the card. Press with your finger where the battery is and the card should light! Let there be LIGHT!

Using 3M Foam Tape to adhere the sentiment. I marked the place to press with a dot to light the Star on the tree.

Thank you for visiting and experiencing a little of a Florida Christmas with me today! I hope you enjoyed it and will come and visit again! No matter the kind of Christmas you enjoy that it be the Merriest and Brightest!
