Hello Digi Divas! Welcome to my Blog tutorial. I am so excited and long for Spring- flowers emerging, new grass sprouting, birds chirping- new life! Today I want to share this musical spring card using my new Sing a Song of Spring Digi Stamp Set. Here in Florida Spring has been a little on the slow side this year to Spring! I hope it is soon coming and is Singing a song for you! Come along as I introduce you to my newest creation.
Suggested card size 4-1/2" x 6-1/4"
MATERIALS LIST COPIC® MARKERS
3525J Sing a Song of Spring Digi Set B000, B00, B01, B02
Hammermill® 100 lb. White Coverstock R01
Speckled Green Cardstock W00, W1, W3
White Cardbase 5"x7" Y02, Y13, Y15
Woven Grass Sheet YR02
Spellbinders® Shapeabilities Tiara Die Copic® Multi-liner - Sepia
Elizabeth Crafts®- Fitted Ovals Dies
Versa-Magic® Hint of Pesto
Leaf Ribbon from my stash
Foam® Tape
Dimensional® Glue
Tear-ific® Tape
Sharpie® Fine Point- Brown
Size the nest image to 3-1/2"x 2-1/2" and place in the first half of the page. Select sentiments and place on second half of page. Sing a Song sentiment- I sized to
3-1/8"
Color as desired. I used Copic® Markers and the list of colors are listed above. I used a fine point Sharpie® to shade in the darkest hatch marks for shadows.
Snip small pieces of grass / twigs from the woven grass sheet to glue to nest after you cut image out with Die.
Cut image of using Spellbinders Shapeabilities® Tiara Die. Separate the pieces, using Dimensional® Glue,
glue the grass to the nest in varying directions and sides.
Color the Image piece from the edges in with pale shades of blue.
Using the largest Elizabeth Crafts®- Fitted Ovals Die cut the Speckled Green Cardstock.
Using the largest Elizabeth® Crafts- Fitted Ovals Die on the cardbase trace around the outside leaving a small part of the fold on the left as shown. Fussy cut your oval cardbase and the sentiment. Edge the Green oval using Versa-Magic® Hint of Pesto as shown.
Using Tear-ific® Tape adhere the green oval centered on the oval cardbase.
Using Dimensional® Glue adhere the image and frame centered as shown.
Using Leaf ribbon from my stash adhere a small piece along the bottom of the nest.
Trim a separate leaf and adhere above the nest as shown.
Using Foam® Tape adhere the sentiment as shown.

OPTIONAL: Using some of the scraps I adhered on the backside with a name plaque.
