Sugar n' Spice Slimline Card
Hello Digi Divas! Welcome to this sweet new Holiday Slimline card tutorial that I am so excited to share with you today. When the Holidays roll around my family loves to pull out the ingredients and start baking! The air is permeated with the wonderful smell of sugar and the spices of the season. I created this card using my new Sugar n' Spice Digital Stamp Set.

Suggested card size: 4"x9" Slimline
MATERIALS LIST: COPIC® MARKERS:
#3580J- Sugar n' Spice Digi Stamp set C1, C3, C5
Hammermill® 100lb. White Coverstock E11, E13, E15
Craftsmart®- Green Pad - 4"x9" cardbase E30, E31, E34, E35
Clementine Embossing Powder E43, E44
VersaMark® Ink Pad R12, R14, R17, R29, R59
Silver Glitter Gel Pen T1, T3, T5
Nuvo Crystal Drops® - Simply White W1, W3, W5, W7
Spirited Green Glitter Y15
Nuvo Crystal Glace® YR00
Tear-ific® Tape Sharpie® Xtra Fine Orange

To start this scrumptious delight, I sized
the pre-colored main image 3-1/4"x6-1/2" and centered in the lower 4"x9" rectangle as shown.
Center your sentiment in the upper portion of the 4"x9" rectangle.
Sized the oranges to 3/4" and the cinnamon to 7/8" and group to left of bowl.

Using a straight edge, I tore the 4 edges about 1/8" inside the 4"x9" rectangle as shown.
I also tore the edges of my name plaque.

I used the cap of a large ink pen as a stamp
and VersaMark® to stamp the outside edges of the oranges. Sprinkled with Clemintine® EP and dump the excess off and applied heat.

Using a Silver Glitter Gel Pen on the cookie cutters and the whisk.

Apply Nuvo Crystal Drops®-Simply White as
icing on the cookies.
Sprinkle very lightly Spirited Green Glitter as
sugar sprinkles. Let Dry.

Apply Nuvo Crystal Glace® to the ornaments and bowl for that glass shine. Let Dry.

Using Tear-ific® Tape adhere the main image
centered on the 4"x9" Green Cardbase.
OPTIONAL: I adhered my name plaque on
the backside of the cardbase.

When I reminisce about Christmases past, I can almost smell the fragrant sugar n' spices of the Holiday Season- and the delicious treats my siblings and I helped mom create.
A wonderful tradition to share with loved ones young and old alike. Truly a precious time ...

As a BONUS - I chose to play with the Sugar n' Spice Set again and combined it with my Flour Child Digi Set. There is no tutorial... Just a short description. The utensil tree is finished much the same as listed above, with exception of the Gold Embossed star at the top. Flour Child is colored in a traditional Christmas motif and a little added spice. Fussy cut and mount with Foam® Tape for some dimension.

It is a 5"x7" card with a Tear-ific® Tape and Later Gator® Glitter border. Hoping this inspires you to try it or mix and match some of your favorites.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing a part of your day with me.
