WITCHY GERTY 648 DIGI STAMP SET

Good day Digi Stamp Divas! Today I was going through some of my mother's old photos and came across a 1961 Halloween photo I was a witch in. It made me think of my Witchy Gerty 648 stamp set; come along on my FUN nostalgic journey. The ghosts and goblins will be here soon!


The size of this project is 12"x12" page.

For those of you who do not have a Silhouette you can substitute with the following Dies:

WeR Nesting Dies Circles - the largest circle

Nesting Scalloped Lace Rectangles - Largest Die

or MVchiF Nesting Cutting Dies

Penny Black 51-245 Halloween Die

or Happinter Die Cuts-Halloween



I used Silhouette Cameo to cut my parts to toady's page. Above is a list of dies that can be used if you do not have a Silhouette Cameo Cutting Machine. I used the Silhouette File - Witch's Shaped Hat 5x7 Halloween Card cut file. Layed out as shown in the screen shot.


Hand Cut an Orange Rectangle 2"x6" and

a Green 3"x4" Rectangle.







Size the Witchy Gerty 648 image to 5"x5-1/4" on Hammermill 100 lb. White Cover Stock.












Color Image as desired. I used COPIC markers. List of colors listed in materials list.


NOTE: I used both E30 and G000 for her skin color.








Fussy Cut the Witch image. Use a small hole punch in areas difficult to get to.

(As shown)











Place the witch image on a coffee filter and apply Dimensional Glue to the Witch's hat band.










Dump Orchid Glitter on glue, empty excess into coffee filter and pour into jar.


Repeat for patches on apron...

Orange Crush Glitter for one and Spirited Green for the other. LET DRY.








Apply Flicks of Dimensional Glue on the broom bristles and a thin line around the shoe buckles. Dump Evening Glow Glitter on the glue, Empty excess off into the coffee filter and pour into jar.


Repeat with Elephant Gray Flocking on the cat. LET DRY.









Fussy Cut a strip of the DCWV Halloween Chevron paper as shown; apply 1/4" Tear-ific Tape on the reverse side.












Adhere vertically about 1" in on the 12x12 Black Card Stock as shown.











Apply 1/4" Tear-ific tape to the back side of the Yellow 5-3/4" circle and adhere about 1-3/4" from bottom of page as shown.











Apply 1/4" Tear-ific Tape to the reverse side of the Witch Image and adhere about 3/4" from the bottom of the page and to the right side of the moon as shown.











Apply 1/4" Tear-ific Tape to the Back side of the Green 3"x4" Rectangle and adhere to the Black 12x12 about 4" in and about 1/2" from the top as shown.










Apply 1/4" tear-ific Tape to the backside of the Orange 2"x6" Rectangle and adhere to the 12x12 Black page about 3/4" in and about 3/4" from the top as shown.












Apply 1/4" tear-ific tape to the revise side of the scalloped purple rectangle and adhere about 1-1/4" from the top and about 1-1/4" in from the edge as shown.


Glue Spider as shown.







Use Dimensional Glue and adhere the word Spellbound to the Green Halo.


Apply 1/4" Tear-ific Tape to the back of the sentiment and adhere to the 12x12 Black about 1/2" in and about 2" from the bottom as shown.


Used a Glitter Pen - Violet to accent the lettering of the sentiment and green for the cat's eyes.


Adhere the photo and 2nd spider as shown below.
