CHRISTMAS HOLLY #1

Hello Digi Divas everywhere! As one of my favorite Christmas songs says- "Haul out the Holly"- I'm hauling out my NEW Christmas Holly Digi Set! It's New and On Sale as part of my Christmas in July Sale. I drew this set with versatility in mind. If your Christmas Card list is as long as mine, I'm sure you can create a plethora of holiday cards using these images. Here's the First of Four New Christmas Cards I created to give you some inspiration!

Suggested Card One size: 4-1/2" x 6-1/4" (A6)

MATERIALS LIST FOR #1 of FOUR (4) CARDS:

Hammermill® White 100lb. Coverstock COPIC® MARKERS:

Black Solid Core® Cardstock R14, R17, R29

Christmas scraps from my stash G02, G05, G09

Green scraps from my stash

1/8" Gold Metallic® Ribbon

Liquid Pearls® Rouge

Small Hole Punch

Tonic® Holly Bouquet Die

Nesting® Banner Dies

Nesting® Circle Dies

Dimensional® Glue

Foam Tape

Tear-ific® Tape

Layout your images as shown above; Print your images on Hammermill® 100lb. White Coverstock. Color as desired, I used Copic® Markers. Cut out the images and set to the side as we work through each card.

Cut two (2) Tonic® Holly Bouquet wreaths, one in a bright green and one in a darker green from you scrap stash. Trim the interior holly pieces off and set to the side for later use.

snip one of the wreaths so you can wrap in and out around the whole wreath. Randomly glue into place as shown.

Print two (2) sentiments about 2", color as desired

I used Copic® Markers. Cut out using a 2-1/2"

circle die. Adhere to the center of the Holly wreath. Embellish with Liquid Pearls® Rouge.

LET DRY. Cut an 11"x6-1/4" rectangle, score and fold at 2" and 6-1/2" to make your cardbase.

Cut three (3) Banners from scraps from your stash. Two (2) 1" strips and one (1) 1-1/4".

Adhere together in staggered lengths as shown. Adhere to the cardbase 2" aligned with the flap.

Adhere the wreath image on the front side of the

flap. Open the flap and adhere the 2nd circle to

the backside with the flap sandwiched between.

Embellish with the holly trimmed off earlier and

small red hole punch dots. Adhere the gold bow

to the front wreath, let dry.

Card One is finished! I love the textures and contrast against the black background for this card- hope you do too!

This is Number One of the four cards I made with my NEW Christmas Holly. Digi Hope you enjoyed this card as much a I did sharing it with you. Stop by again soon- I have three more Christmas card making tutorials using this versatile set!

Hugs,
