llo Digi Divas Everywhere,
So glad you stopped by again today! I have a second card to show you that I created with my NEW stamp set Valentine Wishes. This box of chocolates card is dedicated to my devout chocoholic hubby of 45 years. Ready to craft a really unique Valentine Card? Here we go....
3380J- Valentine Wishes Digi Set COPIC® MARKERS:
Hammermill® 100lb. White Coverstock R12, R14, R17, R29, R59
Black Solid Core Cardstock RV00, RV32, RV35
Nuvo® Crystal Drops - Morning Dew N0, N1
Dimensional® Glue E55, E57, E59, E79
Small paint brush 100
To start this lovely creation I sized the candy box image to 5-1/2"x4-3/4". Copy and paste a second image as shown. (Add a sentiment in the tag if desired) Print on Hammermill® 100lb. White Coverstock.
Color your images as desired. I chose to use Copic® Markers. The list of colors are listed above.
The chocolates- I made my own designs on top.
Score and fold the Black Cardstock at 5-1/2" to make a cardbase.
Using a small brush and watered down Dimensional® Glue, paint over each of the pieces of candy in the box. As shown and let dry.
On the second candy box image apply Nuvo® Crystal Drops-Morning Dew to the ribbon. Leave a slight space between each piece so they do not run together. Let dry!
Fussy cut the image with the coated candy. Apply Tear-ific® Tape to the back side and set to side.
Fussy cut the image with the shiny ribbon and trim off the candy portion as shown.
Apply Foam Tape to the backside.
Using a black marker I ran it around the edges to help cover the cut edges.
Adhere the shiny ribbon image directly over the lid image on the whole chocolate box.
Adhere both images to the cardbase with the straight of the candy boxes about 1/4" from the fold.
Fussy cut around the image except at the fold leaving a 1/4" as shown.
Wasn't that a Quick, Easy, Fun Valentine Card? Perfect for that chocolate loving sweetheart in your life. I am so happy you stopped by and shared your time with me. Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you'll stop by again for another creation. Thanks again, stay safe and Happy Scrapping!
